After Hours:
networking done differently
Step into our office
Want to network, but hate networking events? Same.
Most networking events tend to go like this:
+ You stick on your name tag and face the awkward walk-in, desperately looking around for someone that looks friendly enough to approach
+ You finally build up the courage to approach someone, but you soon learn it’s a vendor who’s trying to sell you something 🫠
+ The invite said food was included but turns out that means one bowl of chips for 50 people (so now you’re starving)
+ You leave without having made any real connections and wonder if it was even worth your time
After Hours is career networking done differently. Think curated, intimate events for professionals looking for genuine connection
What makes After
Hours different?
It can be hard to have real conversations at your average networking event- particularly when you’re not loving your current role, or you’re dealing with a role redundancy or a reset.
We believe that genuine connection starts with having the right people in the room, and After Hours is designed with three people in mind:
Anyone who’s feeling disengaged or stuck in their corporate role right now;
Anyone who’s been laid off or made redundant lately; and
Anyone who’s left corporate to go out on their own
The event is all about quality over quantity: keeping numbers small to create better quality conversations, with wine and snacks you’ll actually enjoy.

We’d love to see three types of people fill the table at After Hours:
1. Anyone who’s feeling disengaged or struggling in their corporate role right now
2. Anyone who’s navigating a redundancy/layoff
3. Anyone who’s left corporate to go out on their own -
1000%! This event was made for you. Ideally-we’d love for people to come solo so you can make the most out of the evening and meet new faces!

Our event will start at 6pm and run until 8.30pm. We know life gets busy, but we’d love for everyone to arrive as close as possible to 6pm so we can make the most of our time! You’re more than welcome to leave early if you can’t stay for the full time, but we’ll be sticking around until 8.30!

An excellent question- food really is the most important topic (at least I think so). We’ll be serving sourdough bread, charcuterie boards, stracciatella and beef tartare (ie just the most delicious things). Dietaries? Share these with us when you book your ticket and we’ll ensure the venue caters for you accordingly. Don’t like steak tartare (shock horror)? No problems- we can sub this out for another option for you.

We’ve booked a semi-private space in the mezzanine at Love Tilly Devine. When you arrive- walk past the main bar up the steps towards the mezzanine and you’ll see our space. We’ll send out detailed instructions via email closer to the date to make sure you know exactly where you’re going!

Unfortunately we’re not able to offer refunds or cancellations once you’ve booked your ticket- but if you can’t attend and you’ve already booked a ticket, you’re more than welcome to transfer that ticket to a friend/colleague of yours instead. If you’re trying to decide if the event is the right fit for you before booking your ticket, feel free to shoot us an email at hello@outofofficecommunity.com and we’d be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have!
